CAMERA, Camera, camera! What camera do you use?
The number one question photographers get aske
d. What camera do you use? What camera do you recommend? I have discovered that recommending cameras is a whole different thing than telling you what camera I use. What I use might not work for you. Cameras are one of those things I find rather a personal preference.
Here are some cameras I recommend for those interested in photography or vlogging.
Let's begin with vlogging:
There are two I recommend and both are in a kit to help you get started.
Canon PowerShot G7 Mark lll Priced around 899.99
Sony ZV-1 Priced around 849.98
both cameras I found take beautiful photographs and that is one of the things I look for in a camera. I enjoy it when a camera does more than one thing. I also enjoy learning all about both parts of photography. Video and photographs. If I had to choose just one I would choose the Sony, due to the ease of use.
I learned how to vlog with a Sony and found it very easy to use. I also discovered with this camera that there is much to learn about vlogging. The way in which the camera is held, the angle to shoot lighting, and motion photography is much different than portrait photography.
Today, we have are phones that have expensive cameras and most people can get started using their phones. Apple has made it look so easy. What are your personal goals, that is the first thing you have to figure out? Depending on your personal goals for a camera will depend on what camera I recommend. Are you aware that Sony makes a phone that has an amazing camera in it? I myself didn't realize this until I was searching for another way to show off my photographs after a photo shoot that wasn't using my camera. I was thinking of a table small like a mini when someone showed me the Sony phone. Now that brought up a whole bunch of questions for me. That I didn't have answers for and therefore didn't purchase any more equipment until I learned the answers for myself of what I am trying to achieve.
It's when you know about yourself. What type of photography are you about and what do you want to accomplish that you can decide what is right for you.
Begin with what you have and grow from there. Learn your own photography style and then shop for the camera you'd like.
